SHIPPING POLICY
All flowers and leis are shipped via or UPS via overnight or 2day Express shipping.

When should we place our order?

Ordering Deadlines:
We deliver to the West Coast Tuesday - Friday, on the date you specify.
We deliver to the Midwest and East Coast Wednesday-Friday, on the date you specify

Tuesday delivery is only available to the West Coast (California,Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho) .
However, there is a $15 surcharge for this overnight service.

Sunday and Monday deliveries are not available. All orders which are indicated to arrive on Monday will be moved to the next possible SHIPPING date which is monday.

Service Delays

Occasionally FedEx or UPS will issue a "Service Delay Announcement" indicating a shipment delays due to adverse weather or other  conditions.  BloomsOfHawaii will not issue refunds during ANY FedEx or UPS Service Delays.  All Delays are posted on the FedEx website: www.FedEx.com.

Some shipments may be delayed due to Department of Agriculture inspections. We do not offer any compensation for deliveries delayed by government inspections or any other issues that may occur while en route with FEDEX or UPS which result in lost or damaged deliveries.

Cancellation Policy

We normally do not refund money once the order has been placed. We issue a credit towards an order or multiple orders in the future. Once your order is received, the flowers will be ordered and/or reserved. Cancellations the same day are ok.



Tropical Flower Deliveries

We substitute any tropical flowers with similar flowers or products of equal or greater value, should your desired flowers not be available.

Lei deliveries: For Thai Orchid Leis, (wholesale leis) you might be able to order and ship them the same day if the order gets in by 8AM Hawaiian time. There is no guarantee, but in most cases we can ship those leis the same day.

ALL OTHER LEIS CAN NOT BE ORDERED AND SHIPPED THE SAME DAY. PLEASE ALLOW US AT LEAST 1 DAY TO PREAPRE YOUR LEI ORDER

Service Availability:

You can place your order whenever you like, however, our cut off hour is 10 AM Hawaii time, Monday through Wednesday, so if you need your flowers to be delivered at a desired time please keep in mind to ORDER EARLY enough!

YOU CAN ORDER WHENEVER YOU LIKE, JUST PUT THE DELIVERY DATE IN THE COMMENTS BOX AT CHECK OUT AND WE WILL DELIVER ON THAT DATE!

Saturday deliveries:  A $15 FedEx surcharge will be applied for Saturday deliveries. Saturday delivery is not available to California due to the Department of Agriculture limitations.  NOT ALL AREAS HAVE SATURDAY SERVICE.  Please contact Fedex Customer Service at 1-800-463-3339 for further information on Saturday delivery restrictions.

Holidays

During holiday periods, it may be necessary to make delivery the day BEFORE or AFTER the requested date. Please specify in the comments if you want us to cancel the order in the event that delivery is not possible on the requested date.

FedEx employees take certain holidays off including Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. Therefore there is no delivery for the holiday itself or the day after the holiday.

Mother's Day is the busiest floral holiday of the year.  As there are often shipping delays, we recommend scheduling your orders for delivery no later than the Wednesday two weeks before Mother's Day.

What addresses can you deliver to?
Addressing Requirements

A complete street address and valid phone number are required for shipping. Partial or incorrect addresses may result in additional charges. FedEx cannot deliver to PO Boxes or to APO/FPO addresses.

The FedEx driver will not drop off a package without a signature unless you  authorize a "no signature required" delivery.   Please note that you would like your package sent "no signature" in the special instructions for your order (on the billing information page during checkout).

When will the order be delivered?
Package Delivery

FedEx delivers to most areas by 5 PM. FedEx will not specify a time, or deliver before or after a certain time.

We recommend that you alert your recipient to the expected arrival of a package.

How are the leis and flowers packed?

We pack all leis in specially-reinforced boxes.  According to handling requirements for each lei, the leis are:

*Coolant or foam packing is used as necessary at no extra charge.
*Misted.
*Wrapped in florist's plastic sheets or wax paper, loose enough for good air-flow.
*Surrounded with shredded newspaper to provide insulation and cushioning.
*An outside layer of newspaper and decorative florist's wax paper.
*Care Instructions are always included.  Gift Cards when requested on the final Order Form
